FAQS.

WHAT IS THE BAND CONFIGURATION:
Suit & Tie Band begins as an 8 piece band: 2 Male vocalists, 2 Female Vocalists, Drums, Bass, Electric Guitar, and Keys.   This configuration can increase in size and instrumentation as well as decrease based on your needs. Add-on options are also available for horns (trumpet, sax etc.) for additional fees. 
 
DO YOU OFFER COCKTAIL HOUR OR CEREMONY MUSIC
Elements from the core band can be utilized for cocktail hour music, ceremony music etc. for additional fees which can be added at the time of booking or after the initial booking period.  We suggest conferring with the bandleader to decide on what configuration will work best for your needs. 
 
DO YOU USE IPODS?
No, we generally do not use iPods unless our client requires it for a specific song selection.  All breaks are rotated with singers and band members so that LIVE music is consistent throughout your event.  
 
DOES THE BAND ONLY PLAY FOR WEDDINGS?
Absolutely NOT!  We love to play for corporate and social events as well! Holiday parties, life celebrations, etc. are all welcome!
 
WILL YOU MC THE EVENT?
Absolutely!  One of our band members will MC the event and navigate the evening assuring smooth transitions while keeping your guests engaged and entertained.
 
WILL YOU LEARN SONGS NOT ON YOUR PLAYLIST?
Yes, we will always learn specialty songs, i.e. first dance, parental dance, processional and recessional etc.  After that, we generally learn up to 5 songs that are not on the band's playlist.   
 
CAN WE PICK SPECIFIC SONGS FOR THE BAND TO PERFORM?
During the planning process, we generally discuss the genres of music our clients prefer to hear.  From there, we follow the policy of our clients choosing the equivalent of a few songs per hour and we choose the remaining music as we have experience in knowing what songs will generally keep your family and friends dancing and enjoying themselves throughout the event.  We also leave room for your "do not play list."
